It's only 10 p.m. Thursday here in California...so it's early morning Friday for you? How extraordinary it is that we can communicate this way! You're the only one to compliment the artwork. I wanted desperately to try the far right side of the page for once! ; ) Thank you for your visit!

I believe women are more wise than men think. I have six sisters and three daughters. The women decide their faith. I liked the vision you create. I roamed the bars for 20 years. Hoping the kind ladies would share a smile. Thank you dear Kelly for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Lol, it's comes from all that preparation of walking with books on our heads! Thank you, Fabian!

Can't help thinking Kelly this picture of allure and sophistication could soon be taking a tumble. How many more drinks till the lipstick smudges, the stilettos become weapons of mass destruction and the hair an unkempt bird's nest. Love the wicked anticipation of what's about to happen. Great brevity that tells a story.

Wow! You've really set the "bar" once again, Kelly. Brevity it be, but the imagination is piqued as to the outcome of their balancing act, as your poem now reveals there are two women, beautiful twins they be. Which raises the question, the inebriated men at the bar, are they seeing double?

I was just speaking in jest of women in general, saying that by their third drink, this is the behavior you might see. Did you read my poem, "Men in Bars"? It's in reply to that. How great is it to have you grace my page? I left a comment for you, too! ; ) Thanks, darlin!

Perhaps now I can see them sitting at their small table across from each other and wondering, "Why are we here?" Lost in their mutual, lonely reverie . . . memories being a harsh mistress.
In the bars I used to go to they were tryng to balance themselves on the way out the door. haha. I was never high class. In some ways that's a good thing. :)
