This was a fun poem, void of the usual pity party. However, being someone who frequented, and attended in my younger days, might I suggest finding someplace different.

Thanks for the fun read. No criticism intended. :)
I suppose I find myself boring people with philosophy or string theory. I am sure we carry things from exes to the table as well. Sometimes it's hard not to.

I didn't have the "women in bars" written yet, to post them both at the same time. It wasn't until someone suggested I write one in response that I did. Thank you for your review. It's always nice to meet someone new!
13 meager words, really? (Well 14 words if you do not use the contraction) Nowadays, I rarely drink in a group of "guys" these past several, several years. "Back in the day," when younger I did so. But even then I got tired of all the bullshit talking, the primate pounding of the chest, the trash talking, their latest conquest of the opposite sex, married or not . . . so I suppose this is not really a review of this write, but maybe a cautionary tale, if you will, of the friends you choose to be with. Even so, it gave me pause to remember I escaped a bullet in my youth. 13 meager words, eh?

This brought a smile. It reminds me of a sordid joke about two girls in a bar. ( After two drinks the first girl looks at the second and says, "If I had another shot I think I'd be able to feel it. To which the other girl replies, "If I had another shot I think any guy in here would be able to feel it." ) I don't drink alcohol. Hot tea, black coffee, water. That's it for me. There's enough drunken fools in the world without my adding to the number. I enjoyed the read and forgive my lapse in social decorum with the crude humor. I wonder if that was an eccentricity of some ex out there. (smile)
