Bathtub Poetry

Bathtub Poetry

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

bathtub poetry

love drenched words

and a bottle of pinot noir

exasperate salted wounds,

regurgitating unfinished verses

of bathtub poetry.

So sweet, my friend! Thank you, dear Roland!
Not so sure about the salted wounds, but I'm all about that bathtub poetry...maybe some bubbles...soothing and relaxing. Time to get those unfinished verses completed! Nice :-))

I wrote my best poetry watching a lady enjoying a long bath. I read poetry to her and I washed her hair. This is paradise. I believe, best poetry written a bathtub and the mind is quiet and peaceful. Thank you dear Kelly for sharing your amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Hello dear Kelly and you are welcome my dear friend.
Oh that wine...lol. When I saw the name of this I thought of that Pink Floyd song on The Wall where the girl in the background says, “wanna take a baaathhhh”. You have this great way of making even frustration sexy, I love how good you are at the shortest pieces, making huge points. Loved this.
