At just the mention of Keats I am already with thee! I follow him on his viewless wings of poesy....though my brain does retard quite often in seeking its perfection!:)) A marvellous poet and one much admired. This is such an original way to present words of dedication. I sure hope to encounter more such writes in this style. Most enjoyable!

I am thrilled you enjoyed my offering to Keats. Thank you, Jamila!
Okay, wow!! I've not read Keats in like, decades? Shame on me. With spring just weeks away I now have something "new" to re-read, and to see if my older eyes will remember how my younger eyes felt reading Keats those decades ago. Again, your brevity is not unlike a storm, always stirring things up.

Reading of how he struggled with tuberculosis, hoping to survive the winter. How he must have longed to see another spring. Thank you, Charles!

Spring is renewing, that is for sure . . . but oh, how I long to pass through that door into summer!
dearest Kelly... as we near Spring... there is a wisp of hope within our reach. March has come in like a Lion... and I for one look forward to the Lamb in Spring ... who surely bleats like the poet Keats and we will be blessed. truly, Pat

"The day is gone, and all its sweets are gone!"... That's the Keats poem I thought about when I read your poem. There's a longing for something gone, and something still within reach. And, the artwork is a perfect pairing with this poem. We see the woman, back exposed, turned away, and walking alone among nature. It's a quiet independence and vulnerability, as you've expressed in this poem, Kelly.

I wrote them shortly after seeing the autobiography by Jane Campion, called "Bright Star". I was totally absorbed by it. Your reviews are special to me, Robert. Thank you!

You’re welcome, Kelly. It’s good to see you in the Cafe again.

Those three lines always come back to me every February. Thanks, Gene!
dear Kelly... to know you spoke these words is
a breath of the divine Keats. A poet introduced me to Keats
and mailed a small book of Keats poetry to me... 'across the pond".
With poets like you and Lydi and others my life will never be the same.
I remain in your debt. p.s. I did find your message. thank you.
Love the above words, "My heart longs for another spring, like the wings
of an outstretched sparrow... like the dying breath of Keats." I retreat.
always, Pat
