beautiful words...and your photography is stunning in its gorgeous simplicity that has so much depth to it.

Your words here Kelly are as clear a sign as any, that animals are a part of nature, whereas we seem to be merely observes.
But hey, who's complaining? You get cosy tootsies, the cat gets a cozy place to do what cats do, and we get your lovely words. Everyone's a winner. Now, where did I put my sasquatch feet slippers? 😀
It's funny how the habits of a cat can mark a season. I lost a previous cat of mine in June, and I literally sobbed for a solid two weeks after his passing. Then, when winter rolled around, and I went to pull out the flannel sheets and electric blanket, I started sobbing all over again. Tiger used to lay at the top of the bed with his head on the pillow, and he loved for me to pull the sheet up to his neck along with the electric blanket and comforter. He was like a little person, and I miss him still. Every time I take out the winter bedding, I always think of him.

My cats are like children to me, and their loss is nothing less than a family members, or friend. It takes so much out of you emotionally, and the pain really never goes away. I don't think I could ever live in a house without one, or multiples. You should look into your nearby shelters and consider adopting another. The love has to go somewhere...and you could save another cats life by adopting one. They have older cats as well as kittens, and they so desperately need the love and compassion of another. Your memories of Tiger will always be with you. That part never dies! Thank you for a lovely review!

A co-worker actually got her from the humane society; but because she really wanted a Siamese, she never bonded with her. I found out that they were trying to find a home for her, and I knew right away, without even seeing her, that I wanted her. There are pictures of her on the second page of my photos. She is solid black with green eyes, and her name is Mia. She is so absolutely perfect in every way … the most loving cat that I have ever had.
