I liked the sense of nostalgia, conjured up by the black and white images and the recollection of how it usually is in the muddle of our emotions and wilder efforts, looked back on like an old film. Great write!

I have a habit of hitting the rewind button. Thanks, Jibey! Good to see you!
After all, love is about loving the other's imperfections even more than finding faults and trying to correct them...
This flows so well. Definitely has the right feels to it ;)
Lovely write, Kelly.

You are ever so kind, Doc...thank you so much my friend!
Kelly, this is fantastic! Nothing like the feeling of first love...the passion....the desire....the "we have to do it now" feeling. I really enjoyed the Casablanca references. Wonderful! Lydi**

We all remember our first love, don't we? Thank you, Lydi!
Kelly - one of my favorite movies. Many of the best ones were in black and white. Not too unlike our loves, the good, the bad what are thy black or white?
Take care - Dave

So good to see you again, Dave! Thank you so much!
ohh i love this beautiful reminiscing ...melancholy yet enchanting .. love the "black and white" very strong emotive imaging says i! and referencing Casablanca ...and Bogey's infamous "miss-quote" ;) in closing is perfect ... the comfort and intimacy of two people "knowing" one another comes across in roses honey! enjoyed the experience of reading my friend!

I'd wait forever for a review from you. Thank ya, Gene!
"Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, She walks into Mine."
OOooo, such imagery you portray, Kelly, and how indiscreetly your passions sweep us/our fertile imaginations/our yearnings and hunger for the romantic taboos of classical flicks … it's just the way you sweep us up into your deliciously sultry -- moments … ummm*
Ahhh, it's too bad about that spilt wine; it had such a sweet bouquet … so much like You.
But, "We'll always have Paris!" Ohhh-YES! Play it again.........🎶
Could I love it more? 😏 Whatta ya think, Baby? ⁓ Richard 🍃
First love analysed with such apt phrasing made the title so meaningful Kelly -- gentle erotica enlivened the read and that final invitation did it for me. A classic for sure.

They just don't make them like they used to. Thank you, Fay!
I dont know when exactly, but at some point you set and maintained the perfect erotic pitch & standard for this poetic genre.. I do know I have this on some kind of mental loop having already read and considered your words and the message contained herein already several times..
