Reminiscent Tears
A Poem by Kelly Scheppers
...in memory of a friend
Reminiscent Tears Ashes
to ashes dust
to dust my
heart lies mortally
wounded by reminiscent
tears.
in loving memory of Tony

A quote from Hemingway reads, "No one you love is ever truly lost." I've taken solace in those words today.

Brave of you to post your pain, the loss of a heart obviously dear to you. My thoughts and prayers I send to you. I know this to be true that when a heart is broken the mending of it makes it stronger. Yours will too.

Mental image of the picture alone is captivating that really adds to the poem.
