There is much beauty, in this compact ode to the white stuff. There is romance. There is metaphorical allure. A finely crafted piece, Kelly.

I must admit I am not a big fan of city snow.... but, watching it come down in the country, as it coats the trees white, ground white, just lying there un disturbed by human touch, is indeed beautiful.... and I must add Kelly, your nouns and syllables have gone a long way in enhancing this fantasy....
it snowed here today and the field behind our house was all wintery, and later today I will take Daisy out so she can roll around in the snow.... thanks for your poem Kelly... Daisy and I will throw snow balls at you from the east coast... ;0p

I like when the sunlight reflects off of it, you see these little glints of snow that look like diamonds. So pretty! I'll do my best to catch that snowball...thanks for the great review! ; )
Not a syllable or noun wasted or out of place in this little piece of loveliness Kelly....However, having pretty much had a January of snow, I wouldn't deem it quite as beautiful....If I could see, which I can't. Not sure if im suffering from being snow or loveblind, but my money is on both. :)

Thank you for making my day a warmer one, Lorry. Many blessings to you!
Nothing like the cold outside to keep the heart's fires burning. Love the contrast between hot and cold here Kelly. Great image as well. All good wishes.
I am so glad I found these words on the day they were born, no doubt I would have found them eventually, but that's another story & anyway, given that less is sometimes more, today's little discovery should keep me warm till spring....
