I love the fact that a change in weather can evoke so many different types of feeling. You have captured a rainy day in pure perfection and the solitude that it can bring with no complaints. When I was young and lived in Colorado I would stare out the window on a cloudy day when the news said it was supposed to snow and look at the black tarpaper on an old shed, waiting for the first flakes to start falling. Then it was outside I would go, I felt alive and on fire and needed no one to play with, I was happy inside myself. Loved how this made me feel. Great writing Kelly!

This picture elicits that feeling to extreme. Thank you, Crowley!
Rainy days through a window. Rain has a way of separating us from our day to day problems, neighbors, the world and everything that pesters us. I love it.
I was rubbish at living on my own thus many a time woke up next to the bird found staggering around the car park covered in kebab fat, and with a pronounced limp due to a missing heel.
Hope you are well Kelly.

Never twice feels the same, is spot on Kelly. Being from where I am, where clouds are made, givese a lot of practice at that. Some days, viewing the pitter patter of rain on a window can bring warmth and comfort, yet it can also bring feelings of a different nature, leaving us feeling disconnected. The mind can be fickle, although it is okay to be both. We are only human after all.
Ps...i feel like a hypocrite for saying our weather sucks, as we are in the middle of a two week heatwave right now. (Yes, in Scotland! Thats like five years of summers to us. :)

Sometimes the strings that attach us to family, friends, work and life get so tangled that somethings gotta give. Thankfully, all it took to fix was a moment of clarity, on top of a hill as the sun shone. We just need to find that different perspective and see how simple solutions can be.
and Im singing ....sometimes in the middle of the night ..I wish you were a better man....or maybe I should just be a better woman, but today my shades are drawn and Im throwing on my jammies, grabbing that ole faithful blanket and pillow. Wanna join me for a good old girl slumber party?
wouldn't it be just ever so luvverly if we could choose.. a kind of pre select button would be right up my street..... another little gem Kelly if you ask me..... Neville
