A much needed and imaginative flip on an old game we often associate with less honorable activities. Honestly, optimism, and hope for humanity in a few brief poetic lines. One of my favorites. So nice to read something positive and bright tonight. Nice work, again!

So creative and original Kelly..to dare to face the truth and try to change it for the better- “to imagine a better world”- you eloquently present us with the Holy Grail of philosophies... lovely verses, flow, cadence, pauses. Imagine....yes. Love this so much!

Thank you most kindly, Annette! And give that little fur baby a hug from me.
Perhaps instead of Promise, we can add Hope.. who knows. Your beautifully balanced words strike a chord, echo the mind and the head bobs in a nod, dear Kelly. We all need to understand and give more, stop judging, stop stiffing the detritis we've all contributed to. Perhaps prayer is the answer, perhaps
holding on that good is what keeps Hope alive.. Thank you for writing your observations of what should be Belief in humankind. Perhaps.

Much needed words for all to hear, Kelly. During these days filled with trials and tribulation sometimes the only thing left for us to do is pray and hope for a better world. Simply loved this poem. It is one that needs to be saved and savored over time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

Not quite the "Truth or Dare" most have gotten hammered by. Chuckling here.

A tall order for some. There's so much bad it's hard to see the good. But life is what we make of it and what we choose to think, I guess.

I love this-your philosophies spelled out here... completely agreed about no guarantees and time being fleeting.. therefore.. be daring, and live more kindly, more loving, more giving, even though others may not deserve grace or mercy, offer it anyway, for none of us are deserving... we all have demons and darker sides... choose to rise above and be a kinder, more humble contribution to humanity... true love is loving the undeserving, loving the unlovable, noticing the needs and filling them. Thanks for writing on this! Love, your Partner In Crime

Your review gives strong emphasis to this piece. Thank you, my friend!
There is absolutely nothing wrong in the philosophical thoughts & beliefs you incorporate into the main body of this delicious piece of literary art you have created and left for us all here to savour... any and all acts of kindness, whether given as part of some unconditional strategy, or more randomly proferred is a gift with the price tag removed... only the recipient could possibly place a value on it........ silly good in my book...Neville

"A piece of literary art"...I like that, Neville! Thank you so much!
I like the message in your words. I think forgiveness is important.
Prayers are tricky, they are just words, but I guess those are the words that can heal hearts and minds so maybe the prayers are powerful in that they give people hope and can inspire change.
