Wonderful use of truth or dare. Hard to find the real truth today. The dare seem more tempting. Thank you dear Kelly for sharing the amazing poetry.

Truth, I love the message behind this, made me feel better today, its been a rough week. Dare, I will dare myself to try and live a little more like the second part of the poem. Every time I read your stuff it makes me smile or feel something awesome. You need to come back a little more, I miss your writing!

Kindness is a rare commodity these days, no doubt about it. Imagine a better world? I think we have all been doing that since the 60's....to no avail. Beautifully written and filled with uplifting thoughts, my friend. Lydi**
dear Kelly... I find myself looking at the immigrants in town with their children, and I realize they are for the most part wonderful parents and have feeling the same as we do. Many of them have learned English quite well.
Many of them work hard. I am humbled by their bravery in a strange world. There but for the Grace of G-d go I... Your poetry is an excellent example of Truth and Dare. truly Pat

Your poetry Kelly is amazing as always.
truly, Pat
I adore this poem and have saved it for future reading. The title gives nothing away for what the reader is exposed to as the words flow on. So beautiful, yet so empowering. It’s such a difficult task to look beyond someone’s disgruntled attitude in hopes of lifting their spirits instead of condemning them. If more people not only put forth a little more effort, but also allowing themselves to receive others kindnesses without feeling criticized, the world would be a much more peaceful place. I imagine you to be a beautiful woman with grace and tranquility and positivity shining through your smile. At least that’s what my mind sees when reading this piece. Thank you.

I appreciate the warmth of your words, Kelli. Thank you so much!
This feels like a challenge . . . similar to the old “truth or dare” game, but different. You pick two excellent ways to illustrate these two ideas. I like the barely-there kick-in-the-butt aspect to this, without being preachy or gung-ho. Your simplicity works wonders (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

...thanks, Margie. You always know the jest of what I'm trying to deliver!
There are many truths here, and the way I see it, there are truths...and then there are TRUTHS that many, many people would prefer be kept secret. Your poem has one of those: “tomorrow belongs to no one...” Huge fortunes are constantly being spent on keeping the future hostage, with insurance, futures trading, arbitrage, deficits, etc. The fact remains that the future belongs to no one. It can all turn on a dime in some unforeseen way, and all of that scheming can fall like a house of cards. But it's enough to make a person want to give up, to see what sort of ransom is being extracted.
And that is where your dare comes in, of necessity. What else can we do?
Now see how you've said in a few beautiful words what I've been foaming at the mouth about for years? Well done, Kelly!

Thank you, Barb...much appreciate your time and visit!
I think many will say that they will, but the question is (will the DO?), saying and taking actions are completely different.
wonderfully brilliant Your piece dear Kelly, strong, urging with a willing and yearning voice.
