lovely the lily

with trumpet petals sounding

love’s orchestration.

You know, I've never had a bouquet of them, as much as I love them...how strange!! Perhaps I should make some changes in my garden. What was it that Meg Ryan's character said to Tom Hanks in the movie "You've Got Mail"...daisies are the friendliest flower! I'm inclined to agree!

I presume you would need to drive a stake behind them to offer support? I never thought of growing them in pots, instead of the ground. Hmmm, thanks Chris. Perhaps my green thumb will be productive after all!

Medium to large size pots, good drainage and sandy soil mix works best. Also don't over water or the bulbs will rot. Hope that helps.

Aww Kelly, I have got to show this to my family. My Mum always loved lillies, because her Mum did, and she has a great granddaughter called Lily too.
It's funny that they now remind me of her.
