Very expressive poem accompanied by the photo above. I love the "eradicating all decibels" line. The shadows and sunlight in the photo are very artistic indeed.

I initially had "annihilating all decibels of sound", then decided to change it to "eradicating". I took about 10 shots of that photo from different angels, but this is the one that spoke to me.
Your photograph alone is so very artistic, Kelly. It could almost pass as a painting and your words add the perfect touch or maybe its the other way around. But without a doubt this piece is outstanding and speaks volumes!

Your comments always leave me with a smile. Thank you ever so kindly, Dara.
a very deep, clever, contrasting write that immediately took me into a different realm of consciousness. there is so much that can be read between the lines in this. could be discussed at length for sure.
packed with meaning. nice work ... :)
Sorry, couldn't resist:

Nicely imaginative juxtaposition of dark/light, as well as sight/sound, plus a stunning picture to show your message with clarity (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you, Margie. I appreciate you're taking the time to stop by today! (((HUGS))) Kelly
You masterfully execute the power within the universe that explodes of darkness and light.. a classic duel that is urgent in the extremes, yet here so quietly demure, just resting in the absence of sound to heighten your consciousness.. and you see it there and are in awe of its explosive inspiration and the indulgent succulence of this moment in study of contrasts. Your photography is sensual, feminine, and I do so love it. I think the contrast of light and shadow is why I love black and white photography so much (hence my profile pic).. there's such a stunning, striking boldness to the dramatic contrasts.
I feel a warmth within your sunshine and a solidarity with you in that silent, serene moment. So much passion and beauty-I love it!
