There is nothing

I require of you,

other than

the look in your eyes

 

no clarity

or cut of diamonds

could take my breath away

like the feeling of you

so close…

 

to lie in the confines

of an unmade bed with you,

weekends long

getting drunk

I love the worth placed on intimacy here.. no clarity or cut of diamonds could take my breath away.. all you want is to lie in that unmade bed wrapped up in sweet libation with your lover... no need for sobering.. just remaining there a little while longer allows you to roam around in the inextricable heavenly bliss that doesn't have to dissipate just yet... thank you for bringing me there...

Oh, you're so right! I love Keats!! But, quoting Shakespeare and getting drunk on love has a more slippery liquidity to it.. it makes one want to fall into that bed too. Great edit... maybe another more relaxing/humorous piece could be a nod to the eating popcorn thing, but not this one.
