This is for my friend, Barb…she’s expecting her second child in December, and cannot believe how fast her little girl, now 17 months, is growing!

I raised two brothers from the age of 3 months old in my daycare, until they started Kindergarten, and let me tell you, the time really flies! I actually wrote this for my own son, but I presented it in a matted frame for my friend before she left for Texas in August. I think every woman who has had a child can really feel the emotion I put into it. Thank you so much, Ana!

You know, Pat, I remember the very first time I felt him move inside of me - it was like a butterfly spreading its wings, the flutter of it, was so quick and left me overjoyed. I kept writing poems about my son all through Elementary school, high school, and up to his college graduation. He's my one and only, and I couldn't be any prouder than I am! Yes, Eric turned 22 this summer...I am flattered you remembered! I actually wrote this for him when he was a baby, but I gave it to my friend as a gift in a frame before she left for Texas. It made her cry, so I took that as the kindest compliment I could ever receive. But I've got to tell you, this review, comes in a pretty close second! Many thanks, my friend!

Nice one Kelly, and oh, they do grow up so fast.. I swear that it was only 2 weeks, 7 hours and 45 minutes ago my oldest was born.. he is 48... and has kids of his own... sheeeesh... hope your friend and baby (both) are doing fine...

Thank you, Curt. Unfortunately, she and her husband moved back to Texas in August so the kids would grow up closer to their grandparents. It broke my heart, but life goes on, right? Yes, they do grow up so fast...too fast!
