Time

Our youth is the wind

summering through the willow.

We are the seeds the dandelion blows.

The very breath of God is within our nostrils

beseeching us to embrace

       …time.

Time . . . let today embrace the past with warm remembrance, and the future with bright longing.

Your phraseology, dear Kelly, is as the effulgent knowing touch of a flower's tender, healing kiss … upon the fevered brow.
What more perfectly apt symbolism to the chronicle of time could there be than that amazingly artistic and creative illustration you've selected to epitomize it … I do not know of any, and this one is appealingly original to my taste.
A herald of how swiftly our lives sweep by … that we've not enough time to set aside in neglect.

No one can express with more originality, beauty, depth, and uniqueness than you do … big hug of thanks for letting us share so much of You, Kelly ⁓ Richard x0x

The photo is such a nice accompaniment~ time is the only thing we can't control, but we can choose how to spend it, how to plant those beautiful seeds. Always so beautiful Kelly!

Thank you, Carolynn. I really thought so, too.
We only have it while it is here; once it's gone, it;s gone. Beautifully written.

Time....we all write about it and we all wish we could control it. There is a bittersweetness to this one. As the calendar pages turn, we are helpless to stop them. Lydi**

For some reason Maya Angelou came to mind, she said something like most people don't grow up, they age, I'm paraphrasing here. Very poignant Kelly.

Thank you, darlin! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
when young time doesn't seem to go fast enough - places to go, things to do... but when old (older) there isn't enough time, seems to go too fast.. and then, gone.. love that third line...
