Of Which Nothing Compares
A Poem by Kelly Scheppers
Of Which Nothing Compares
I smell the rain, like a child smells a flower. Its scent wafts through me like coffee brewing, like home-made cookies fresh from the oven, or grandfather’s pipe… like a Douglas Fir tree in the middle of December, or the scent of a baby’s head, of which nothing compares.

It's pretty cool when you think about it, how all those childhood memories come rushing back at the smell of cookies, huh? Thank you, Trace!

if you won't paste the pic. that's displaying the love of mother & baby, i'm pretty sure, would have written something else 'bout the therapy of majestic love you do paint in iridescent words. your love toward poetry's seemed to be quite intriguing. it fascinates me every time you hold on to your butts!
