My heart in heavy solitude

 longs for another spring,

like the outstretched wings of a sparrow…

like the dying breath of Keats.

I appreciate that, coming from you, Jacob! Many thanks!
Every line is deeply effective.. I can feel the deep solitude; I know the longing of another spring and I envision the sparrow's wings outstretched to take flight. the last line takes my own breath away with the concluding of the poem in connection to the final exhalation of the poet's own breath...Memorable work here and very solid with so few words...
