I'm coming up on the time of year that I feel most melancholy about...the anniversaries of the passing of both my parents and older sister. October, November and December.
The sepia tones of this Mecuro B. Cotto artwork simply captivated me, and somehow breathed life into my words. May it remind you of someone that greeted you with a kiss!

Oh so nice to have someone greet you at the end of the day with a kiss.
The warmth of your writing lends honesty to your testimony of love.
I hope it is always there for you.
Take care - Dave
Here's hoping you can channel your residual grief into something positive, like writing pieces like this short and sweet gem. My thoughts are with you as you enter this somber season. Align your sorrow with your strength and trudge on with your burden. Good luck! take care...dan
A beautiful memory of lost and sadly missed days. The pictures fit the words perfectly. A simple hug or kiss, with a smile that means, you are home. Beautiful words.

The fact you have a time of year that brings it all back makes me understand why we are sympatico. For me it is July-August-September......and it is not easy. Indeed, the memories still warm our hearts, but to have them back with us just once would be spectacular. Thinking of you, Kelly. A touching write. Lydi**
Words, music, smells and seasons remind us of loves that have gone, but without them how could we remember. Nice work Kelly.
