The Fabric of Morning

The Fabric of Morning

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

The Fabric of Morning

Linen whites,
brocades of intricate blues and greens
weave the fabric of morning

Coffee, strong
nullifies the peering of eyes
Strands of copper hair
snare his pillow.

Bodies merge, conversation blurs
like freeway lights in blinding rain

Linen whites
veils of hello, goodbye
weave the fabric of morning.

Goodness, Kelly!
What lovely form (picture and poetry) to inspire one's fascination through the vividly arousing, sensually smooth fabric of your silken imagery.
Is it You that is so sweetly framed and lit by the window?

Makes me wish for morning's fabric every hour … mmm's of warmest thanks! ⁓ Richard

(tried to give a 1000, but it wouldn't let me … LOL!)

Nice words gave life to the beautiful photo. Some visions make us want to stay and steal our thoughts though out the day. Thank you dear Kelly for sharing the outstanding poetry.

I will keep checking in...so I don't miss any! :)
damn you write sensual so well....so subtle with your words ,but you create texture...and strong strands in those fabrics of meaning.

this is like that after effect of a night of passion...still lingers in the morning.
