The Fabric of Morning

The Fabric of Morning

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

The Fabric of Morning

Linen whites,
brocades of intricate blues and greens
weave the fabric of morning

Coffee, strong
nullifies the peering of eyes
Strands of copper hair
snare his pillow.

Bodies merge, conversation blurs
like freeway lights in blinding rain

Linen whites
veils of hello, goodbye
weave the fabric of morning.

Good to see you, Kelsey...thank you so much!
There is a scent of soft, white linen and rich coffee flooding the senses and hovering over your sensual music of moods and magic. So tenderly breathed, Kelly. xo

Oh yes, there MUST be coffee...no morning would be complete without it! Thank you my dear!
dear Kelly, so delicate and intimate...
a wisp of passion as dawn gives way
to "brocades of intricate blues and
greens". Your poet heart paints a
romantic Monet of bodies entwining
in the fabric of morning. truly, Pat

I truly appreciate your kindness. Thank you so much!
So much precision here. I love you lines are sharp and clear, but still delicate and wispy. Really lovely writing.

Thank you, Cory...it was wonderful to see you!
So articulate, neat, tidy is this Kelly in the unveiling of the morning from the night before of sensual activities which are good for mind and body!
