The Fabric of Morning

The Fabric of Morning

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

The Fabric of Morning

Linen whites,
brocades of intricate blues and greens
weave the fabric of morning

Coffee, strong
nullifies the peering of eyes
Strands of copper hair
snare his pillow.

Bodies merge, conversation blurs
like freeway lights in blinding rain

Linen whites
veils of hello, goodbye
weave the fabric of morning.

SENTIMENTAL IN A MORNINGS RUSH AFTER A BEAUTIFUL START TO A WONDERFUL DAY OF BLISSFUL LOVE.

"The Fabric of Morning" I just love the title! Took me in and really liked how you used those fabrics (linens and brocades) to your advantage of incorporating them into the of awakening of a new day mingled with the memory of the night before. Lovely poem...

I am deeply flattered...thank you so much!
I guess, am kinda beloved with such bewitched "Fabrics' Of Morn". Very detailed & deep!

My fav. lines: "Bodies merge, conversation blurs..."
The whole poetry's one of my fav. as well but the above line's seemed way beyond excellence/possession. It's portraying, how two souls get mingled with "one" having snores; sighs & melodic slight love-bites across the convos of night. The pic. that's being captured is ravishingly framed up with the glamour of lechery... that has potential to treasure your possessive/invoking poetic words.. well. I like how "Asher" shots or takes beautiful bollock naked shots of beautiful bare ones... He's for sure a womanizer spirit deep inside who better knows how to tickle women's bare heart & gently convincing 'em to do what he wants to. You must check out his website, he has got a few more shots:

Hope you'll find inspiration to write more on anew pics. I believe, what makes "Asher" cool is the way he has been in his past: "Musician". Even women love musician.. ain't they? Hell yeah, they do. And.. now Asher knows how to bash every woman's heart-beat with his productive talents.

Enjoyed reading your work. Excellent!

One would never accuse you of being lost for words, my friend! Thank you for warming my soul!
You are the Goddess of intimate sensuality. This piece and the picture portray such wonderful, warm sensual moments.

Kelly, the imagery you employ is so evocative I felt almost as if I was watching a documentary video...with so much subtlety and power...an acknowledged oxymoron. Just lovely, suitable for framing and hanging on the bedroom wall...where it will blend right in with the love that fills that room. Thank you for that! take care...dan

Thank you most kindly, Tessa!
There is this thing that your poetry does to me as a reader...it's almost as if it is seducing me...luring me in to this tornado of emotion ...swooshing and swirling ...then depositing back in the calmness of the white lonely page...to wait until you seduce me again. I think your a siren! I'm so addicted :)
