Yep, I guess one or the other would do it - could add a little booze in to make it a quicker exit.
Short, to the point -a hello and a goodbye.

You're very welcome!! Hope your ankle gets better soon!!
A poignant poem, it says a lot, to so many who are standing at a crossroads in their lives. Do I choose to overcome or do I choose to succumb to that which I have let control my life for so long and in so many ways.
Four short powerful lines of verse could very well help save very many people from giving in. Thank you for sharing.

...and thank you for this powerful review!
Upon reading this, I literally, really had no words coming out of me. All there was, was the feeling of being understood. As someone who both decided, tried finding a way out in death and who was able to find salvation in writing... This poem, this living form of art speaks to me in every part of me. This, needless to say is beautiful and definitely a piece that should be read by many. Thank you... Thank you so much for writing this.

Kelly,

I had to read this a few times, drank my coffee and came back to it.. Definitely a strong one, mirroring the battles we all could find in our lives.

A most apt photograph to go with it!

Loved it!!
This poetry has two aspects but many perspectives to be conceived thoroughly. First: As you claimed - the darker side. Second: Love - the extraction or contraction, but a very beautiful & immensely phenomenal thing that i've seen around your few orchestrisc words's that both analogies/perceptions of love seemed to be belonged to each other. Love's itself an extraction though a reason of having contraction in memories - the memories which further complete the loop of moments/darkness with few ingredients of love-arcs. "Pills or Poetry" - Ah, what a title/headline it is. Seemed like an exclusive headline of breaking news. Sounds fascinating. Very productive write you've come up with!

Thank you, dear Richard!
This touches me so much because it reminds me of my brother who is a recovering heroin addict. It could've ended badly so many times, but thankfully it didn't. However, I haven't seen him in 3 years because he's in prison. It's bittersweet. Thanks for the poem :D
