Georgia Summers

Georgia Summers

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

Georgia Summers

Georgia summers

were as piquant as

a mint julep in July.

Languid days of skinny-dipping,

where temperatures were as high as

the traversing of hands

 underneath a skirt

of fettered gauze.

wow, Kelly, a sultry piece of wonderful poetry... I could use one of those mint juleps with lots of ice... again you capture those warm days of summer in word and picture... this is great art, my friend... beautiful!
