I Bleed Muted Words

I Bleed Muted Words

"

...a senryu

"

I Bleed Muted Words

The Nightingale sings.

Its piercing shrill impales me.

I bleed muted words.

The envy of the bird's freedom to sing to its hearts content, is matched here only by the magnitude of the inability to do the same by the narrator Kelly. What a contrast and such a contrasting image too. Very deep this one Kelly.
Thanks for sharing. :))

Like many here, I have fallen in love with the "senryu". Your reviews always give me cause to smile.. read more
And here, your muted & so regal words "impale" the flesh of my heart as well. Very deep insights you have dear... Kelly. I ain't think that i've ever read 'Senryu' from you before, but as saying goes, "there's a always a first time" so, it's quite true enough, there's always a first to read. "I Bleed Muted Words" - the title has its own anticipation of perfection that catches the visual of thoughts through air. Wonderful work as always!
