...this is a quote from a poem I wrote for Marilyn. I make a concentrated effort to remember her on her birthday and the fifth of August. If you were able to catch the documentary on her life on "Lifetime" last night, please let me know what you thought!

She was 36 when she died. It makes me wonder what she would think of the world today, how proud she would be to be the icon she's become! Thank you, Robert. I enjoy writing pieces that collaborate a little history with the poetry.

Oh marilyn monroe was an icon for so many and she still is. I love her quotes , one of my fav is:
" We should all start to live
before we get too old.
Fear is stupid
So are regrets"
Such a beautiful woman taken away from this world too soon!!
