like wilting flowers awaiting sunlight…

in the gloaming.

wow... simply, wow... great simile, Kelly, to describe such waiting... this really hits home because my dad fished long hours, and oft' times my mother would pace the floor and wait by the window for his return... love, love, love it!

I had heard of the word from a movie, and simply remembered the beauty of it. This poem was written with ten more to follow in an hour and 45 minutes...talk about an emotional jolt!! Thank you, Dan. Your reviews are the best!

Whenever I write something and save it to my Microsoft page, whenever I go back to it, it gives me the date and the time I wrote it. The morning after I wrote all eleven poems, I went back to get a time frame...it was between 10:44 p.m. to 12:36 a.m.! I nearly fell of my chair...I have NEVER written like that before! I'll be certain to let you know which ones they are when I post them...thank you, Dan!
