The Rib of Him

The Rib of Him

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

The Rib of Him

And I long for him,

to be adjacent to the rib of him

just below the heart of him…

to feel the madness of the world dissipate within
the circumference of his arms,

to hear the symmetry of his breathing with mine

                        so sweetly with mine,

as the orchestration of our hearts beat

like the hoofs of a thousand steeds

pulsing,

converging,

never- ending.

nice descriptive piece of love and passionate romance many would jump at the chance to be in this position of a good hearted romance.

This is absolutely breathtaking. The picture really does define this poem to a T. You did a fantastic job using just the right amount of words to portray the pure emotion of romance & love. I'm a sucker for these types of pieces. Fantastic job.

Ah.
The Prince Charming
Complex ;)
Your literary articulations are perfectly concise. I never lie about such creatively precise truncations..to me...this is the essence...the foundation of what i believe to be the spectacular and self evident nature of less is more. Lovely to meet your mind :)

...how kind of you to say, Thank you!
Oh my gosh....

As you did, I followed my instincts and they led me to your page where I just KNEW I would find evidence of a fellow hopeless romantic. Then I saw this title and it drew me in...

This one stirs my soul.

So passionate and sensual.

Thank you, dear Rubie...I am thrilled to have you here!
This is brilliant. It plays out like a song in my head, and that's a huge compliment because I find lyrical poetry to be the best. At least it is for me.

The first three lines are just perfection. You can't write it any better.

Just perfect, Kelly! I can say no more. You have certainly been busy of late. I leave for a few weeks for the beauty of the mountains and I miss so many beautiful poems of yours. Will I ever catch up? I don't think I want to... keep 'em coming!

How good it is to see you, hon...thank you so much! Take care!
Stefan's photography art & your poetic-work both crossed the path surprisingly... with your poetic words. Liked the breeze of your insights you blow to express the love & warmed feelings. A little sensual moist of sweet-romance's found in your deepen words which makes me enjoying the piece. Well written.
