Ah the romantic era. you will love the Pre Raphealites and the romantic poets as only an American can. We who have had them pushed into us over the countless years.... Actually that last bit is not true as far as I am concerned. I did not do them at school. I only discovered them at University. Trouble with the Romantics is that real history was not like that although we would like it to be. I am re-reading The Once and Future King by TH White. About the legend, not the truth of Arthur. But it is those things that inform my art to a great extent.
This I find quite gossamer and lovely.

Hello Kelly
Thanks for reviewing one of mine.
I decided to return the favour?
I'm currently mulling over "My Psychosomatic Nature" which is compelling for the first part and distant for the rest, however,
I'm from "Welsh Wales" we have castles for breakfast, mainly forced on us by the English but we (or at least I) love our invasional cousins.
I, not unkindly, kinda get this - unrivaled heart?

Thank you for reviewing this. The word "unrivaled" came to me by being unchallenged in thought, like saying all feeling before this, was unparalleled. It fit what I wanted to convey. As for "My Psychosomatic Nature", please don't go mulling over it too long...it was purely tongue-in-cheek. It was nice meeting you, Will...and thank you!
loved the photo don`t we all dream of those mid evil times
and wish to bask in those times of king Arthur and his clan
listen to all those fork lore's of old

Beautiful photo and amazing words.

enraptured by the melodious offerings

I like the ancient places. You can feel the present of great people still. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Isn't it a gorgeous view? It's what prompted me to write what I did...so thrilled you enjoyed it!
Simply a gorgeous write. Rich in language and deliverance.
I loved the picture you chose for this poem Kelly. A true place of captivity which has been picked by the taste of this fine lady who lives there.
