Self-Inflicted Sea

Self-Inflicted Sea

A Poem by Madeline Armstrong
"

Sometimes we fall into the net of self-inflicted pity.

"
A self-inflicted fish in a self-inflicted sea
The poison seethes deep, woe is me
Sometimes I wish I could set myself free
From this net I swam into, intentionally
I find pleasure in the pain, surrounding my body
This misery, internal glee
A self-inflicted fish in a self-inflicted sea
I don't mind my poores breathing out this toxicity
This poison seethes deep, woe is me

I generally dislike rhymes, except baby r's, and sometimes paget's but holy f**k who has the time. and though that's true, it's also true that THIS I loved. Great write! Sick fun in the fly filled sun. (I'm drunk)
