Why are you Wearing that Silly Man Suit?

Why are you Wearing that Silly Man Suit?

A Poem by Mulligitawny

You turn out my lights and I can't breathe
Kiss my lips then smack them clean
Whisper her poison into my ear,
But I'm too smart for her tricks my dear..

When you cracked your head, she oozed into your brain
Made you believe, and now you're insane
You uttered her lies and tied my wings
And she mocks me behind you through songs she sings.

You don't hear my words cause she owns your ears
You can't feel my pain cause she drank all your tears,
You can't truly see her cause she stole your eyes,
She's just a b***h in a woman's disguise.

I knew a few woman like that. You described them almost to a "T". Nice write.

You seems to vent out a lot of disgust in the lines of this one...but the rhyme restricts this a bit...I believe you could have done this in prose and gave more impact within the lines...but that's just me...a personal opinion...

Thanks for the feedback! Although it is not about an intimate relationship i enjoy seeing your perspective and take on the poem. Ty!
Ps: i am not looking for flattery, one small thing such as an avatar seems to be so controversial its intriguing.

You're welcome.
If I understand this correctly, It's a scenario that has been played out too many times. Some guys don't realize what they have and that a relationship takes work. Looking at another woman or getting involved with one won't make things any better. Good write and rant.

P.S Your avatar is not flattering, just sayin.
