Luna thy Elanra....

Luna thy Elanra....

A Poem by Mukeshkumar Mafatlal Raval
"

to my friend Elanra from Turkey

"
Luna thy Elanra,

Beware, she sheds white tears
the pangs of betrayal she clears,
Her first love forgets she never
clad in white mourns for ever;
maddens poor hearts in the night
monthly once she shines bright,
takes the form of beloved first
shouldn't you know this ?you must!
perpetual desire always she is
a celebrity loved in maternal land,
still a lovely barren miss
tempts the sea to embrace strand,
father of storms she lures with a kiss
makes him fool on spongy sand.........

Thank you so much.. I guess its the first time someone ever dedicated a poem to me... Just to fix one thing Elanra is a name I made up, my real name is Elmira and it means Moonlight.

Thank you tho. I'll cherish this always. And I also have to say, this is a fantastic poem. I can hardly believe such a beautiful poem came out of something which is supposed to be dedicated on me.... and me is a loser :P

Tesekkur ederim. (in Turkish.. thank u)
