The constant battle

The constant battle

A Poem by Muhammed Patel

The darkness, in it's prime midnight, is said to engulf all. But not tonight. The billions of stars up in the sky and the trillions spread out across the earth, shining brightly, illuminating the night. The millions of lasers darting across the dancefloors all around the world, dimming the darkness to nothing. The thousands of torches, fighting a losing battle, but still fighting. The infinite number of souls trapped in their dark caves; wanting nothing more than for the darkness to subside. But it won't. Not this time...
