Very First Kiss.

Very First Kiss.

A Poem by intime

The thrill is my creation
A month has gone by; I wait patiently.
I am drowning, but at the same time breathing.
I hear arguing and sounds of cutlery.

I have to wait for it

Blood circles around me.
I kick and punch to get out of this trap.
I wonder if i will cause my mother this much pain again.
I try to scream, but no sound is heard.

I have to wait for it

I know as soon as I escape, love awaits me.
I meet my family for the first time.
I have so much to look forward to.
I am eager to open my eyes and see it all.

I have to wait for it

I am too big for this shell.
I have to get out today for sure.
My mother feels my strength every five minutes.
I kick, punch and scream.

I have to wait for it

I am finally born in Karachi, Pakistan.
I am in mothers arms at last.
I no longer have to wait for it.
I finally get my ...

Very First Kiss.
