Violet DisasterA Poem by Krista PunkTruthful
I dig only to find no seeds
Flower pedals crushed dust in unspoken wind The soil a natural comfort under my nails Too afraid to look forward Too painful to look back Beside me a thorn-less rose I welcome the break in my bones No longer afraid to let the seclusion overwhelm The stars hidden in my eyes Midnight crosses and I find no pumpkin A garden so bright in greys and blacks I dip my fingers in violet silk It could be wrong but it couldn't be right... A moments dream passes memory Refusing to say it hurt I'll look at it as learning .....and I'll breath The natural disaster that is my psyche I laugh in their faces I don't care if my mystery is written So long as its in Beautiful ink © 2012 Krista PunkAuthor's Note
