For years I hungered and angered

Like a dew drop in the desert stranded I felt so isolated

I felt so lost without you

I had to grow up quickly

Had to learn to fend for myself, so I thought

Every day my thirst for your love soared

Every day I floated through life wondering

Feeling so lost and out of place

But, Understanding has come with age

In hind sight, I look back and see you everywhere

Mhai your love was love unimagined

Your love has always been bigger than my eyes saw

You came like the wind, never seen but ever present

Every day at every stage you showed up

You showed up in every woman in my life

Till today I see you everyday

I know now and I appreciate

The love from all angles

This is just me trying to say

I really was able to relate to the first half of this piece, the questioning why, the having to fend for yourself and the loneliness and isolation. Although I can't connect to the last part of this piece personally, I think it is beautiful how you found the love you were looking for in everything and everyone around you.
