Starving

Starving

A Poem by Poeticlicence

Proximity. Distraction. Sideways glances.
Magnetic forces pulling us closer.

Anticipation. Longing.
Lips inches apart.
Mouth-watering desire.

Tentative.
Touch... torturous delight
Hands. Skin. Touch. Breathe.
Breathless.

Trembling, stomach flipping, heart racing.
Single-minded distraction.
Buttons, zips, clasps.
Clothes discarded.

Testing. Tasting. Exploring.
Bodies pressed against each other.
Closer. Closer.
Nails digging in.
Exquisite pleasure.

Waves building.
Total loss of control.
Tsunami.
Shaking.
Sweating.
Starving.

That elevated feeling that builds throughout this piece get the point across well. Passion builds until a climax is inevitable, undeniable. A strong poem here.
