You

You

A Poem by KEEPER
"

oh well...

"
Love has struck again
The bug has bit once again
Leaving a mark as persistent as Poseidon's art
CUPID yes this time you've played your part

Many call this rush,of unconditional love a crush
They claim to have felt it in the past
And it never seeming to last
I disagree I do, for what I feel is true
and I believe it more and more, every time I look at you

Your smile, your eyes , my atrial fibrillation
Your sweet loving gestures and silent connotations
Your gorgeous mind and bewildering brain this heart had managed to tame
Yes arrhythmia is the norm, every time
I see your face

If I'd say I wasn't taken it'd be a sure enough lie
For nothing would set my world alight, like to call you mine
It is said you never really know your fate until you try
So I'm trying out my wings today hoping to surely fly
