Tell me you remember...
A Poem by C. Froman

**************************************************************************************

Tell me you remember the first time we met.

Tell me you remember how it was love at first sight.

Tell me you remember all these moments.

Our first touch how it sent chills through us.

The tight hugs where neither one us would let go.

The moments lost completely to each other.

Our first kiss so much passion and desire.

The sparkle in our eyes everytime we smile at each other.

The quite looks whenever others where around.

Our first date so perfect and magical.

The endless conversations how we had so much to tell.

The silliness how everything made us laugh out loud.

Our first time so loving and passionate.

The romantic nights how we couldn’t have enough.

The silent moments just being in each others arms.

Our heartfelt desires to bring each other happiness.

The endless I love you’s from within our hearts.

The promise to love each other truly and forever.

Tell me you remember all those moments.

Tell me you remember how much we miss each other.

Tell me you remember how much we need one another.

Please just tell me you remember…

Please tell me you remember how much we love one another.

Please tell me you remember you have my heart and I have yours.

This has moved me to tears. I loved it. Life has gotten in the way of remembering these very things. Shame on us for letting it.

This reminded me of a song sung by Nat King Cole, "I REMEBER YOU" There is alot of emotion expressed in this piece. You seem to have hit on all the firsts of a new romance, the newness of it. It is sad when all those feelings become just memories.

What a graceful attribute to Craigs piece... I think everyone wants to be remembered fondly even when you go your separate ways. Beautifully haunting write.

So beautiful moving and cathartic... you took a drop and made it an ocean... Memory can truly be experienced again and again, bringing that sense of refreshing joy back to what seemed lost... It has that power... Thank you for this write...

I remember it well. But I still need to say it every day to be rewarded with a smile that tells me she remembers too
