Waiting Impatiently

Waiting Impatiently

A Poem by Serendipity
"

For a word ... Comment ... Something ... Anything

"

I’m sitting here

Waiting for a word

Waiting for a comment

Waiting for something

Anything that tells me

You still care

Waiting for your reply

Is beyond torture

If you only knew

How much your friendship

How much your love

Means to me

Instead there’s silence

The quiet is overwhelming

My heart is aching

My body is shaking

My throat’s in a knot

My eyes are watery

As I look for you

I wonder of your thoughts

I wonder how you feel

I wonder if you’ll say

Something, anything

I hate waiting

Please find me

Sitting here

Waiting impatiently

To tell me simply

That you still care

That you still love me

Oh my... reading this breaks my heart as I reflect on those feelings I've has before, in search of answers only the one person can give you and yet they are nothing but a shadow at midnight haunting your every dream...
Beautifully written for all it's saddness.

Very nicely done, i hope this person shows or better yet lets their feelings known soon :)

I think we all know these feelings... they can be painfully addictive and controlling too. We will wait for any little sign that someone cares or just thinks about us from time to time. Good job. NH

I hate this feeling... how they can control us with this feeling... makes me sick. Love your words. You capture it perfectly.

Precious words that wrap themselves around the heart and squeeze, gently.

You reach to the depth of feeling and bring it to the surface with kindness.

Truly moving words...

Daniel
