A Single Tear

A Single Tear

A Poem by Serendipity
"

Just wishing I knew. What your heart ... truly desires.

"

A single tear

Just one

Falling down

As I think

Of you

My heart hurts

Needing you

Wanting you

How I wish

For you

My heart wonders

Do you

Need me

Or is it

A game

I wonder if

I will

Ever know

What your heart

Truly desires

Another tear falls

As I

Impatiently wait

For the one

... I love

Those words unknown

To me

How could

You break me

My heart

Sitting here alone

I wonder

What this

Heart ache means

To me

My last tear

Will not

Cry again

For you or

Anyone else

Goodbye my love

It was

Simply amazing

Will never forget

Your love

My arms are open to hold you
wanting to hold you,
let me take the weight off your shoulders.

Its OK to be a little broken
I'm the mirror you look into
Now turn yourself around, look into another
One thats whole, seeing a new soul of happiness.

like the desert flowers
these storm clouds that follow you
full of rain, holding your tears
let them nourish, cleansing you.

The love of your life is here
be patient, don't be in a hurry
among all the desert flowers
he will be found.

No longer alone, you will smile
Once again.

(((Hugs)))

I just wrote this as a comment for another. My heart wants to share it here too. Hang in there.

Beautiful yet piercing in its flow and appearance. Such an emotional depth to your work that makes it come alive. Haunting, as if we have found a note we weren't supposed to see...

Sad.
And beautiful. Short phrases, packed with intense feelings. I like this format here.

Will never forget

Your love

If we truly love someone, I don't think it is ever possible to forget him/her. Going over instances from the past again and again ensure that the memories are kept alive. And to be honest, that is actually what we want.

My last tear

Will not

Cry again

For you or

Anyone else

I wish it was the last teardrop but I don't think it was. Like love, emotions don't die ...no matter how many times or how deeply we hurt ourselves.

Well written.
