Desensitised-Just a perception..

Based on a news story that has broken out recently about people seeking refuge, based on the main story of a child drowning and others found on a beach photograph published all over the media!

Desensitised;

In this day and age we become desensitised,
to the every day horrors that many face but to us seem like a lesser story.
Something that no longer effects anyone,
Something that has now become acceptable.
How can we deem the killing of many ok?
How can we deem the lives of other inferior to ours?

We are so comfortable in our surroundings that what we come to see on TV
and social networking has become normal.
The moral of  a humans existence other than ours is no longer an importance anymore.
Here today, Gone tomorrow. 
Another person gone. 
One less person in the worlds population.

Yet we live in a society where this is the normal..
Where is the normal in that normality, to not be phased by the slaughter and killing of families and children with bright futures.
Making a civilisation instinct.. one by one.
