Chapter 6: Agreeing to bullshit

1 new voice mail.

"Hey Lexi, please answer your phone. I really need to apologize. I shouldnt have said all that and i shouldnt have left your there. im so sorry. Text me or call me back. bye."

I tex him:

What?

He texts back:

Please forgive me, i really want a second date with you, or at least a make-up date.

I text back:

i honestkly dont care, and no date. im done.

He texts back:

Why? i really screwed up.

I text back:

i dont care. im not into dating right now. bye.

he doesnt text back.

Max doesnt go to my school. So its very weird. if i tell someone i have a boyfriend, they ask who, and i say he doesnt go here, they'll think im lying. He texts me again:

"Hey, i need to go on a real date with you. I wont stop begging until you say yes."

i text back:

ok.

he texts bakc:

really?"

i text back:

yeah.

Then someone knocks at my door. Its Max again.

I answer.

"hey." i say

"hey, so where did you want to got this time." he asks.

"not the Beach.." i say. he laughs.

"How about a double date. We could go to skyzone." I suggest.

"hahahah ok, that sounds fun. A house of trampolines." he says.

"who are we going to double date with?" he asks.

"Uhm my friend Megan and her boyfriend." I say.

"kk, text me with the details." and he walks off. i text him:

"Megan says yes to the double date, is noon tomorrow ok?"

he texts back:

Yeah cant wait xD"

and the conversation ends there.

Sunday.

Megan is at my door with her boyfriend. Max shows up right after him. Hes starring at Megan which worries me.

that's when Amazing reality pops into my head. This is pure bullshit. I dont care how much of a gentleman he is or how how cute he is, after this date, I'm done. I'm not in the mood for any games so I shall cut the crap. I am looking forward to bouncing off the damn walls at skyzone though. As we're in the car, I can't stop thinking about him ditching me after 20 minutes into the date. It's like who the hell does that? Then leaving his date out at the beach with no way of transportation. Then I think. What the f**k am I doing?
