Swan SongA Poem by MsMermaidNature and PrayersSwan Song
One misty morn A golden light Engulfs two silver swans. The river trees are witness To their silent swim at dawn. Softly mist And golden rays Caress each silver feather Gliding in cool waters Oblivious of the weather. That misty morn Of golden light I came to cry and pray. I saw the swans Lift up in flight Trumpeting away. One swan looked back And in that moment I felt a little shiver As if the swan was saying "Your prayers I will deliver." © 2011 MsMermaidAuthor's Note
