Chained

I am chained. 

Each link a longing thought of you.

Your gaze,

A tease that seeps into my soul like dew.

I am chained.

To wistful dreaming, each a twining link.

Oh heavy 

Chains of yearning drag me to the brink.

I am chained.

Free myself, I cannot seem to do.

Desire 

Is strongly binding me to you.

I am chained.

You do not know my awful plight.

Doomed

Am I to suffer day and night.

I am chained.
