The Soloist

The Soloist
His voice was steady as he began
The sweet melody to sing.

His serious face was like a plan
To sculpture some divine thing.

The Aria echoed through the hall
Impeccably, perfectly pitched.

Heartfelt emotion enjoyed by all
Until the mood suddenly switched.

A wave of laughter began to grow
The performer began to frown.

What was wrong with his solo?
His trousers had fallen down!
