Daylight MoonA Poem by MsMermaidMy musings on the phenomenon of being able to see the moon during the day. Photo taken by Alex Blok, a poetry group host who has passed on.Daylight Moon I've often pondered the mystery 'Cause I don't know how it's done That we can see a full moon in the sky During daylight, ruled by the sun. I'm sure astronomers can expound The technical reasons for this. But it does not feed my romantic soul, Giving that feeling of bliss. So I have fashioned in my mind A possible reason why On certain days both sun and moon Share the same daylight sky. Though Moon is feminine, her will is strong When she misses her husband, Sun She ventures into His Light Realm For her will cannot be undone. When HE misses her he cannot go Into her Realm of Night. His power would 'luminate her world, Filling her kingdom with light. Moon's subtle feminine power Is welcomed during the day, While Sun is forever banished From visiting Moon to play. Now doesn't this begin to explain The nature of females and males? While the male species is very strong, Feminine power prevails!
