No More Bruises

No More Bruises

A Poem by Ms Jessica Renee
"

The pain has gone away... thanks to you.

"

Black and blue

The colors of pain,

Of darken clouds

That bring about the rain.

Nothing could compare to the fear

When the shadows masked the past year.

Beaten and broke down

Nobody seemed to be around

And all hope drowned

I was thrown about

Torn apart by the dark

Ripped to shreds

As nightmares filled my head.

But the end never came

Because you came my way

Brightening up my day

With every word you said

Your touched healed

Soon I was love filled

Today there is love

The past has faded away

All thanks to you

I am no more black and blue

No more do I feel the cold rain

No more of the same piercing pain

There are...

....no more bruises.

The pain is escapable. It is absolutely possible to leave the shadows and find the light. The pain is not everlasting and the bruises do fade. The lessons are learned but love can be found. A wonderful message for those who have living, lived through or know those who have been in the same situation. Your voice and ink will give others the comfort and courage to know that they are not alone. Most importantly... they can find a way out.

Courage ink! :)
