What Was Wanted?

What Was Wanted?

A Poem by Ms Jessica Renee
"

Just answer the question.

"

Almost I can touch it.

Taste its bitter sweetness

Of a love so far gone

While the tears come on.

What was wanted?

A love daunted.

Answer this question

What was wanted?

My heart unwanted.

Well you've won

The battle is now done

Come take your prize

Just tear apart my life

Explain your reason

For this treason

Broken dreams

Lonely years

Is that what was wanted?

It's great how you manage to keep the love pure, in your poems, even in heart ache.

The loss of your half, is painful and you describe that in simple terms witch gives the lector the opportunity to find himself in your work.
