The Voice Within

Nothing will keep it down.

The voice within

Just won't be silent

Chaotic like the wind

Screaming to be let out

 

And no more will I hold it back

Don't care if you don't like that

It's going to seal the deal

I'm letting it come out

So I can finally heal

 

I kept it shut

Locked in the dark

It's been far too long

I won't live in the wrong

Dormant no more

Hear it roar.

Very strong and well-written!! I really liked the imagery and the feeling is so that any fellow writer can appreciate!

One crtique: The last line of the fourth stanza, should probably read, "I don't want to live in the wrong"
